After nearly two years of preparation, the day has finally come to move a truly unique system—a DEC PDP-11/55—from the Netherlands to its new home.

The system consists of three racks and includes many fascinating drives, such as an RK05, a PC05, a 9-track tape drive, and two RK05 emulators.

Also a huge amount of spare parts were included and goodies like a RK07 disk exerciser + alignment cartridge, which I can use to bring my RK07 drives back to live.

I’m very grateful to have been offered such a system—it’s not something you come across every day.
