A friend of mine asked on Facebook whether anyone would like to take a MicroVAX II, complete with several drives, all mounted in a small rack.

The second I read the post, I was already typing „YES“ as a comment.

The post mentioned that the pickup location was close to me, so I got in touch with the owner and we scheduled a pickup date.

We agreed that I would come and collect the system on 16 March, which gave me five weeks to prepare. During those five weeks I managed to free up the space at home needed for the new member.
