Cleaning / Testing TZ30

Today i have cleaned and tested my „new“ TZ30 Tape Drive, which I have got in one of my last Hauls.

I have also verified, that the reels turn smooth. On the TK50 side the ball-bearings needs mostly replaced/cleaned as the oil become matted and the reels will block, which will damage the tape somehow.

That’s how the drive looks like after some time in use:

The Functional Test was also a success and I have made a small video of the operation.
