{"id":3373,"date":"2025-07-27T10:41:38","date_gmt":"2025-07-27T08:41:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.pdp-11.de\/?page_id=3373"},"modified":"2026-08-20T13:19:03","modified_gmt":"2026-08-20T11:19:03","slug":"2-nov-2021","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.pdp-11.de\/index.php\/my-hauls\/2-nov-2021\/","title":{"rendered":"2-Nov-2021"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>After nearly two years of preparation, the big day has finally arrived: the transport of a truly unique system \u2014 a DEC PDP-11\/55 \u2014 from the Netherlands to its new home.<\/p>\n<p>The system is housed in three racks and includes a number of fascinating storage devices, among them an RK05, a TU56, a nine-track tape drive, and two RK05 emulators. Also included was a wonderful DEC PDP-11\/84, complete with disk drives, a TU81plus tape drive, and many other items.<\/p>\n<p>A large quantity of spare parts came with the system, along with a few treasures \u2014 most notably an RK07 disk exerciser with alignment cartridge, which I can use to bring my RK07 drives back to life.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m deeply grateful to have been offered a system like this. It&#8217;s not something you come across every day.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.pdp-11.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/20211102_094733.png\"><img
