Today I have reviewed a part of my DEC RD54 Drives, and have started to inventory and Format them, to see if they are still in working condition.<\/p>\n
I use always my MVII with an RQDX3 Controller and the DEC MDM Diagnostics. (not the Customer version)<\/p>\n
You can also use a MicroVAX2000, as he has an Formatter integrated in the PROM, and is from this point a good tool for this job.<\/p>\n
Tests were done with the MDM tools in version 4.8 via TK50.<\/p>\n
